Google backup is a great feature that allows you to automatically back up your data to Google’s servers. That’s it! Google Backup and Sync will now be stopped on your Android device. If you don’t want Google Backup and Sync to store any of your data, tap the slider next to ‘Sync my data’ to turn it off as well. Tap the slider next to ‘Back up my data’ to turn it off. To stop Google Backup and Sync on your Android device, open the Settings app and go to Google > Backup and Sync. If you decide that you want to start syncing files again, you can go back to the Folders tab and check the boxes next to the files and folders you want to include. For example, you could create a rule that excludes all files that end in. You can also create rules to automatically exclude certain files or folders. To prevent a file or folder from syncing, uncheck the box next to it. In the right panel, you will see a list of all the files and folders in that folder. Under the Folders tab, click on the blue plus sign and select the folder you want to create a filter for. To do this, open the Backup and Sync app, click on the three lines in the upper left corner, and select Preferences. If you only want to stop it from syncing certain files or folders, you can do this by creating a filter. Under the General tab, uncheck the box next to “Back up my files and photos.” One way to stop Backup and Sync from syncing files is to disable it altogether. While it is a very handy tool, there may be times when you want to stop it from syncing certain files or folders. Google Backup and Sync is a tool that helps users to automatically backup and sync their files and photos across devices.
